Meet Angi – From Bodybuilding to Pole Dancing Powerhouse
A few years ago Angi had reached her personal top. Standing on stage for a bodybuilding competition, with the shape of her life, dedicating all of her time to this lifestyle. But something was missing. She trained hard, looked strong, and competed with laser focus. But after years of strict routines, she craved something new. Something that didn’t just make her look strong, but feel strong in a different way.
That’s when she found pole dancing, starting in a studio first, but not really enjoying it:
“In the beginning, I didn’t learn pole in the most logical way. In my very first class ever, I was thrown into a move like the Inside Leghang—which, let’s be honest, is a bit much for someone with zero experience.”
As a physiotherapist, she understood the body. But pole dancing challenged her in unexpected ways—mobility, fluidity, and letting go of control.
“As a physiotherapist, I understand how muscles work in the body. And pole dancing made it so clear to me: no matter what move or figure you’re doing, it’s always a full-body workout.”
